Your new modular home will be warranteed to the hilt!

Each modular home purchased from The Modular Advantage is covered by an array of warranties that can be divided into four categories:

The Statutory Warranty

Expressed Warranties

Implied Warranty

10-year Modular Warranty

The one-year Statutory Warranty is required by the State and is a complete one-year warranty.

Expressed Warranties are manufacturer warranties on the individual components of your home. Examples would be roof shingles (30 years), carpet (5 years), vinyl flooring (5 years) and so on.

A more complex warranty is the Implied Warranty on your new home. It basically states that you as a consumer have a right to expect your home to perform and be marketable like all other homes being purchased.

Let me give you an example not relating to homes.

You have purchased a dishwasher that "buys the farm" 4 months after the statutory warranty expires. Your retail appliance store might tell you tough luck, but they are wrong. If other dishwashers perform 5-10 years without trouble, and that is the generally accepted level of performance, then you, too, have a right to expect your dishwasher to do the same.

The same applies to your home!

Lastly, The Modular Advantage has always offered at its own expense a 10-year Residential Warranty program on the modular home (from the sill up). This helps you obtain VA, FHA and other Government financing. For those using conventional financing, it is an added measure of protection and comfort.
